Moral against immoral big cinema from the beginning. We turned to one and wished death to the other. But: those who are said live longer. The moral existence as mortal, while the immoral seemed to lease eternal life. Speechless, we stopped talking about the immoral, and over time we forgot the difference between the immoral and the moral. Then a suspicion aroused us: talking about the immoral would make this mortal. Fair play, equality of arms, that was our idea. But where to find the immoral? It acts in secret, it sneaks, nests itself. To be without showing presence is his specialty. The quiet sole, that is his access. We pick up the track. We spend the night sleeping and sneaking where we can practice the trappings and shackles of language.

The experiences within a study program in the design, film, audio and graphics sector (MultiMediaArt) offer a versatile potential for exchange. This results not only in empirical research, but also in numerous possibilities for artistic research.
As head of department for theory, communication and related sciences many projects, from the most diverse fields of film, art, graphic design, exhibitions, installations, 3D animations, audio installations, VR installations to computer games are supervised by me. The questions adress content and conceptual application issues. It is also discussed how references to theories can be put into practice or integrated in projects.

Das Immoralische (2017)
Moral versus Immoral - great cinema from the beginning. We turned to one and wished death to the other. But: those who are dead live longer. The moral was mortal, while the immoral seemed to lease eternal life. Speechless, we stopped talking about the immoral, and over time we forgot the difference between the immoral and the moral Then a suspicion aroused us: talking about the immoral would make this mortal. Fair play, equality of arms, that was our idea. But where to find the immoral? It acts in secret, it sneaks, nests itself. Being there without showing presence is his specialty. The quiet sole, the stolen look, that's his approach. We took the track. We adopted his attitude of "sneaking" and "sneaking" - exposing the traps and shackles of the language wherever we could and continuing to write at the big cinema: moral versus immoral.

The unconscious man is the man pressed into a corner of life and driven.
The powerless man is degraded to the thing, to the machine, to the machine, which has pulled the plug to life in the full sense of the word.
The powerless person is trapped in strategies of loneliness. His actions are suggested from the outside and no longer take place voluntarily. The powerless man can no longer be a creator but only a destroyer. The fainted prisoners are incapable of fulfilling devotion. They are deprived of the ability to give themselves positive power. The unconscious person is thus isolated from himself and isolated from his relationships with others and with his environment.
Are there escape routes from the labyrinth of powerlessness? It may be in vogue to subject the powerless to self-indulgence, but this is also an untenable attribution. The present texts encircle the topic of powerlessness, release vital zones and thus work against the paralyzing vibrations.

Revolutionen des Gewissens (2015)
An unexpected revolution quietly announces its beginning, so the optimistic hope. It finds its end in the revitalization of the conscience, which has found its counter-arguments and announces itself by means of a silent eccentricity. Surprising, maybe a little late, but at least. Now it is aiming to return to its well-deserved place and trying on the stage of everyday life to take a lead role in irresistibly captivating the audience and ushering in an era full of humane visions. The various essays break the silence of the conscience, shake hands with it and help it in its search for a suitable language. The conscience is constantly welcomed in the center of the field of consciousness. From there, it can prompt the ego and create great things, as the child wisely takes on his role.

Kunst und Methode (2013)
Art and scientific research are inseparable and fatefully bound together. It is necessary to make this bondage productive, to shape it and to accept that in the beginning there is always suffering (Houellebecq). If rich methodologies such as hermeneutics, actor-network theory, phenomenology and mediology are not (re) harnessed and art and its protagonists are denied their contributions to scientific research, then suffering will never end. The best discourses move confidently between the disciplines and play both the mobility and what lies in between, an equally important role. Counting up to three has become difficult. Responsible for this is the centuries-long dominance of a binary culture. But now we live in the 21st century - it's time to learn three counts: art, science, method. The present text tirelessly links these three concepts, constantly venturing a glance at the number four to produce something very simple: a fluctuation of knowledge.

Otakismus. Mediale Subkultur und neue Lebensform – eine Spurensuche (2005)
The ability to create new media realities is changing human social relationships. Self inclusion and refusal of participation become a strategy for coping with life. Masters of this increasingly observable form of life in Japan are obsessive-schizophrenic media users - called Otakus. For the first time there is now a German-language monograph on Otakism. By changing the perspective within the study, negative connotations are revealed and outdated perspectives are left. Because - so the credo of the author - media techniques not only alienate their users, but are also a condition for freedom.
